We have an exciting new opportunity to join our People Team in a field-based role as Regional People Manager based in the South. If you are passionate about people, succession, talent & development, this could be the perfect role for you!

As Regional People Manager, you will spend time in the stores at the heart of our business, driving people engagement and strategy across our teams of amazing colleagues. Working closely with the Area Managers, you will develop proactive people plans, recruit for Area, Store and Deputy Store Managers and embrace the internal development across each of your areas!

Our ideal Regional People Manager candidate will need to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Experience of recruiting and developing internal talent, ideally in a field-based role  
  • An inspirational leader, enthusiastic about adding value on a day to day basis
  • Commercially and People Focused
  • Ability to influence and manage at all levels including upwards
  • A desire to identify people issues, providing positive solutions
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law would be ideal but is not essential

The key accountabilities of the role will be:

  • Store & Area Management recruitment with a strong focus on internal succession
  • Assist the Area Managers with succession planning and development/performance management
  • Leading and supporting the People Agenda across multiple areas in the South region
