If you have experience of delivering training and development plans to new and existing teams, this is a fantastic opportunity for you. We are looking for a DC Management Development Field Trainer to join the B&M family. We have 6 DC’s (5 in the North West and 1 in Bedford), so a high level of flexibility to travel will be required as you will be visiting DC’s in all these areas.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm in abundance, excellent communication skills and the skillset to deliver a friendly and supportive service to our colleagues. As a Management Development Field Trainer, you will be responsible for supporting and driving the L&D agenda, enabling our colleagues to learn and develop.

The role will Include:

  • Travelling to a variety of locations to make apprentice/employer visits as required
  • Identify training and development needs through reviews and regular consultation with line managers
  • Work in a team to produce training programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties
  • Deliver a range of training using classroom, online and blended learning
  • Conducting follow up development discussions with line managers, coaching and feedback as required
  • Ensuring all training records and systems are updated accurately and well maintained
  • Working within DC’s across the UK to conduct training as part of their on boarding process and continuous development

 Key requirements:

  • Excellent IT skills and proficient in using E-Portfolios and online learning and assessment platforms
  • Experience of using Microsoft Teams and Zoom is highly desirable
  • Be able to keep detailed, accurate and secure written details of concerns and referrals
  • Confident and professional with the ability to deal with any safeguarding issues or concerns
  • Be approachable and have that “can do” approach that will rub off on all our colleagues
  • Experience of coaching & developing others
  • Must hold a full driving license and be flexible to travel
