We have an exciting opportunity for an MHE Manager to join our team in the Qube, Speke.
As the MHE Manager, you will successfully lead, manage and control your area of responsibility, in line with KPI targets and time constraints. Reporting to the senior operations manager with a dotted line into the National MHE Engineering manager. You will provide inspiring leadership to the MHE engineers and the MHE supply chain. The working pattern for this role will be flexible: Any 5 from 7 as required but generally Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm. You will work closely with the MHE manager from the Vault and cover holidays, sickness etc as required.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Virtual line management of the MHE engineers and support teams
- Manage all 3rd party maintenance & servicing activity for MHE contractors
- Control costs on the maintenance of circa 100 MHE assets
- Batteries and charging operations; functionality, upkeep and Lithium charging cycles
- Maintain the relevant provision required to keep circa 100 MHE assets operational
- Damage management trend reporting and identification
- Repair & cost management for all wrap machine, TAWI, lifting equipment and cleaning machines
The successful candidate will be:
- Experience of working with MHE in a DC environment
- Proven history of managing 3rd Party Contracts
- A flexible approach to working hours to meet the business demand of a 24/7 operation
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office & Excel knowledge is essential.
