As Assistant Merchandiser, you’ll work alongside a Merchandiser, playing a key role in providing effective and efficient support for the department. To be successful, it is essential that you have excellent administration skills, an eye for detail, and the ability and appetite to work in a fast-paced environment!

 The accountabilities in this role include:

•  Forecasting sales and planning intake.
•  Ensuring excellent availability of all core SKU’s. 
•  Preparing and maintaining weekly/ad hoc reports. 
•  Generating and raising purchase orders. 
•  Working cross functionally/collaborating with the buying team.

And you’ll need the following skills and experience:

•  Excellent knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Excel.
•  Exceptional data interpretation and analytical skills.
•  Commercial awareness, with a good understanding of merchandising.
•  Highly organised, able to prioritise and work at speed.
•  Ability to build positive working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. 
•  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•  Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
