We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to join our dynamic Bookings Team, based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool. This is a full-time, permanent role, working in the office (Monday to Friday).

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our valued suppliers and third-party hauliers delivering into our distribution centre network. To succeed in this role, you’ll need excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a keen eye for detail.

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced retail supply chain team, with strong exposure to buying office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with suppliers and drivers via phone and email
  •  Booking deliveries using the TOREX system
  •  Communicating assigned delivery slots to suppliers
  •  Resolving delivery-related queries and requests from suppliers/hauliers
  •  Providing general office support as required
  • Maintaining spreadsheets for failed deliveries

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, though not essential
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams
  • A proactive approach with good time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (training will be provided)
