We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Retail Insights & Analytics Manager to shape how we use data across our retail business. This is a pivotal role where you’ll develop and deliver a new strategic plan for data and analytics, transforming how insights inform decision-making, improve processes, and drive sales performance across the organisation.

As the Retail Insights & Analytics Manager, you’ll partner with senior leaders across the business to embed a data-led culture and unlock new growth opportunities, by leading a team of talented Data Analysts who are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of analysis and reporting, ensuring their work has clear commercial impact and supports the wider business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a strategic roadmap for how the business captures, manages, and leverages retail data.
  • Lead the development of insight-driven processes that enhance trading, marketing, product, and operational performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Retail Data Analysts, ensuring high standards of analytical output and professional growth
  • Prioritise and oversee the delivery of key analytical projects, balancing strategic initiatives with fast-paced trading support.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve sales, margin, and customer engagement.
  • Build strong partnerships across key functions – including Customer, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance – to ensure insights inform every commercial decision.
  • Introduce new tools, reporting frameworks, and KPIs to measure performance more effectively.
  • Champion a culture of curiosity and data-led decision making across all levels of the business.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven retail experience in analytics, insights, or BI management, ideally within a retail or consumer-facing environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, be able to motivate, mentor, and develop analytical talent.
  • Strong commercial understanding and ability to link data to tangible business outcomes.
  • Expertise in analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar).
  • Strategic mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with hands-on analysis and delivery.
