People Business Partner – Qube Distribution Centre, Speke

Shift Pattern: Full time, Monday – Friday, 39 hours.

We’re looking for a detail orientated, self-motivated People Business Partner to join our Distribution Centre in Speke, Liverpool

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a key operational area, which plays a vital role in keeping over 750 stores stocked and ready to serve our 4 million customers every week.

What you’ll be doing

As a People Business Partner, you will working closely with the senior leadership team and will report directly to the Head of People for Supply Chain. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring B&M’s HR strategy aligns with company and site objectives.   

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the entire HR Function of your DC
  • Managing several HR cases
  • Implementing People strategies which enhance productivity, engagement and morale
  • Partner with the Recruitment team to support hiring processes
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle
  • Drive actions to reduce labour turnover
  • Lead, develop and inspire a small on-site HR team

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role. You should be able to communicate with employees at all levels, and have previous involvement with cross discipline teams.

You’ll need to have:

  • Senior HR experience in a fast paced business, ideally in Logistics/warehousing or manufacturing
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Demonstratable experience across all aspects of employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, resilient approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
  • A passion for coaching and improving others
