We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and coordinate a portfolio of transformation and operational improvement initiatives within our Finance function.
Operating in a fast-paced retail environment, you will partner with senior stakeholders, drive governance across multiple workstreams, and bring structure to an evolving landscape.
Previous programme management experience within a Finance function is essential.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent finance transformation workstreams.
- Establish and maintain programme governance, RAID logs, milestones and reporting.
- Partner with CFO and Finance Leadership Team to prioritise and track delivery.
- Coordinate recruitment pipelines aligned to finance transformation plans.
- Coordinate role mapping and organisational design activity across the Finance team.
- Develop and execute structured communication and change plans.
- Coordinate the introduction of AI tools and automation solutions to enhance finance processes.
- Partner with IT to implement finance systems and reporting improvements.
- Coordinate end-to-end documentation of finance processes and controls.
- Coordinate updates to the accounting manual and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate the implementation process for robust financial controls and audit readiness across workstreams.
- Align cross-functional teams to deliver against agreed milestones.
- Bring clarity, structure and accountability in a changing environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven Programme Manager / PMO Lead experience within a Finance function.
- Demonstrated delivery of finance transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communicator, well organised and positive mindset
- Experience in engaging and influencing senior finance stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls and governance.
- Experience operating in retail or similarly fast-paced environments.
- ERP or finance systems implementation experience would be beneficial.
- Exposure to AI and digital automation tools within Finance would be beneficial.
- Focus on delivery against demanding objectives in a complex environment with no surprises
- Hands on approach and a strong team player
- Non hierarchical, pragmatic mindset with strong values
- Experience of transformational change in finance teams
