As B&M continues to grow its store estate across the UK, making the right location decisions has never been more important. With an ambitious expansion programme and ongoing investment in our existing portfolio, we're looking for a commercially minded analyst to help shape where and how we grow, ensuring every property decision is supported by robust data and insight.

Reporting into the Head of Real Estate and Development, the Market Planning Manager will play a key role in supporting both expansion and estate optimisation. Combining location planning, sales forecasting and market analysis, you'll provide the insight needed to evaluate opportunities, support investment decisions and maximise the performance of our growing store network.

What you'll be doing:

• Producing sales forecasts and investment appraisals for new store opportunities, supporting acquisition decisions and business case approvals.
• Evaluating potential locations using demographic, catchment, competitor and market data to identify the best opportunities for growth.
• Assessing the impact of new stores on the existing estate, providing analysis on cannibalisation, market share and performance potential.
• Delivering market and competitor insight to support strategic property decisions and help maintain B&M's competitive position.
• Presenting clear, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders and working closely with Acquisitions, Estates, Finance and Operations teams to support decision-making.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in location planning, property analysis, forecasting, data modelling or a similar analytical role.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and insight to support investment decisions.
• Confidence presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• A highly organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
