As we continue to invest in and enhance our stores, we are delivering an extensive programme of store refits and refurbishments as a key part of our growth strategy. To support this transformation, we are looking for Refit Delivery Managers to lead dedicated teams responsible for delivering store refits across the North East & Yorkshire

Reporting to the Head of Store Transformation, you'll take ownership of the physical delivery of refit projects on the ground. Leading a small team of Refit Merchandisers, you'll work directly alongside store teams and contractors to ensure new layouts, merchandising plans and operational changes are implemented to the highest standards. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to trading.

This a full-time field-based position, with regional travel and working out of hours and/or overnight stays required.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading from the front and supporting your team in the day-to-day delivery of multiple store refits across your region.
  • Managing the practical implementation of store plans, merchandising layouts and operational changes within live trading environments.
  • Working on-site with store teams, contractors and colleagues to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to company standards.
  • Coaching, motivating and developing a small team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional results.
  • Reacting quickly to challenges and resolving issues that arise during project delivery, maintaining pace and momentum throughout.
  • Ensuring all fixtures, layouts, merchandising standards and signage are implemented accurately and consistently.
  • Conducting quality checks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the finished store is customer-ready and meets expected standards.
  • Driving a culture of accountability, teamwork and high performance within the refit team.

The skills & experience you'll bring:

  • Previous experience within retail operations, store management or retail project delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent visual merchandising knowledge and a keen eye for store standards and presentation.
  • A hands-on approach with the willingness to work alongside your team to deliver projects successfully.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organised under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make decisions quickly and effectively.
  • A proven ability to deliver results through people, maintaining high standards whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with store and operational teams.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a highly motivated retail leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, leading teams through change and seeing projects come to life. You'll be someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, leading the delivery from the front rather than behind a desk.
