We're looking for an ambitious and hands-on Deputy Store Manager to support the leadership of our [Location] store. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail supervisor, team manager or deputy manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing colleagues and is ready to build the skills needed to become a future Store Manager.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help drive sales performance, maintain exceptional store standards and ensure customers receive a great shopping experience every time they visit. From leading shifts and coaching colleagues to making commercial decisions and supporting store operations, you'll play a vital role in delivering results.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store.
• Leading by example on the shop floor and creating a positive, customer-focused culture.
• Maintaining high standards of availability, merchandising and store presentation.
• Coaching, motivating and developing colleagues to help them perform at their best.
• Taking responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Supporting stock management, compliance and health & safety processes.

• Lead by example, maintaining high standards and encouraging others to do the same.

You'll Also Bring

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Previous supervisory, team leader, department manager or deputy manager experience.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service and operational standards.
• Experience coaching and developing colleagues.
• Confidence managing store processes, compliance and stock control.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
• FMCG or big-box retail experience is desirable but not essential.
