Job Description

Due to our phenomenal growth at B&M retail, we have now got a fantastic opportunity to recruit Warehouse Administrator’s to join our dynamic warehouse operation at our distribution centre Bedford.

You will report to a Warehouse Team Manager and you will be required to have a full understanding of the practices and procedures of each of the main warehouse functions:

Inbound

You will be required to work closely with the loading team to aid the loading process, this will involve:

  • Systemic receipt of vehicles to Warehouse.
  • Ensuring vehicles have been allocated to the bay
  • Correct confirmation of goods to system.
  • Management of inbound schedule.
  • Run and produce reports and KPI’s

Outbound – Picking & Waving

You will be required to work with a daily delivery schedule to plan and allocated work to a team of picking staff this will involve:

  • Resolving any stocking issues preventing stock going to stores
  • Allocating stock to designated bays provided by the loading team
  • Ensuring all work is created and allocated in schedule order
  • Dealing with any issues or scheduling changes that may arise
  • Run and produce reports and KPI’s

Stock Management

  • Ensuring an accurate stock file is kept on all products
  • Investigating and dealing with any stock related queries that may arise throughout the shift through to resolution
  • Maintaining the warehouse layout making sure stock is located within its family group
  • Run and produce reports and KPI’s

Dispatch – Loading

You will be required to work closely with the loading team to aid the loading process, this will involve:

  • Checking to see if any stock is outstanding on the system for each load
  • Ensuring trailers have been allocated to the bay before the loading process begins
  • Correctly managing any stock that is unable to be loaded onto the vehicle for any reason
  • Run and produce reports and KPI’s

In addition to the above, you will be required to carry out a number of general tasks throughout your shift. This includes ensuring the workplace is kept clean and tidy at all times, following all company health and safety procedures, alerting management to any issues as soon as possible and carrying out any reasonable requests made by the management team.
