We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our busy finance team within our Support Centre in Speke. This is a full time temporary contract, covering maternity.

We are looking for a Management Accountant who has experience within a wide range of management finance positions. We want someone who can manage a team and handle a variety of different tasks. 

The Key Accountabilities in the role are:

  • Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Managing a team of accounts assistants
  • Reconciliation of large amounts of cash
  • Working with accounts team on invoices, credit control, and cash flow management.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly bank summary management
  • Production and issuing of weekly sales reports to senior management
  • Monthly Store Profit and Loss Accounts.
  • Accounting for property lease incentives
  • Audit of Property Leases to ensure landlords are correctly invoicing
  • Extensive amount of wage reconciliation
  • Month and year end balance sheet reporting
  • Reconciliation of pension contributions
  • Adhoc analysis supporting the business stakeholders
  • Liaising with landlords, suppliers and internal colleagues

The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills:

  • CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualification is essential
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Accountancy within the property sector would be an advantage
  • Must have excellent analytical and numerical abilities
  • Able to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and leadership skills
